Anti-Human Trafficking & Content Policy
After Dark · After Dark Chat, LLC · Last updated 10-09-2026
Draft: this page is being reviewed and may change before launch.
Our commitment
After Dark Chat, LLC has zero tolerance for human trafficking, slavery, forced labor and child exploitation. We do not allow content that depicts or promotes non-consensual sexual acts, child sexual abuse material, sexual violence or any kind of trafficking, and we follow all applicable laws and card network rules.
What is prohibited
- Engaging in, facilitating or condoning human trafficking or modern slavery.
- Any content involving minors, or anyone presented as a minor.
- Non-consensual sexual content, sexual violence or physical abuse.
- Advertising, soliciting or offering commercial sex, or exchanging money for sex.
- Using real people's images or likeness, including deepfakes.
- Marketing that suggests any of the above.
How After Dark is built to prevent it
- No real people. Every companion is a fictional adult character, 25 or older, whose images, videos and voice are created by AI. No real person is depicted, so there are no performers or models.
- No uploads. Users cannot upload photos, videos or audio, and cannot generate images.
- Adults only. Users must be 18 or older and in the United States or Canada.
- Screening and monitoring. Every message and every companion reply is checked automatically against our prohibited-content rules. Blocked content is logged and reviewed, and every reply has a Report link.
- Records. We keep records of flagged content, complaints and the actions we took.
Reporting and takedown
Report anything that may be illegal or break these rules to afterdarkchatapp@proton.me, or with the Report link in a chat. Reports are reviewed and resolved within five business days, and content that breaks this policy is removed immediately. See our Complaints & Appeals policy for the full process, including appeals.
Consequences
- Immediate removal of the content.
- Suspension or permanent closure of the account involved.
- Reporting to law enforcement and to our payment partners where appropriate.
